Founding of Lenovo company :

On November 1, 1984, Liu Xuanzhi officially founded Lenovo in Beijing, together with a group of ten experienced engineers. The company was established with a capital of 200,000 yuan, and the Chinese government approved its incorporation on the same day.

The beginning of Lenovo :

The company failed in its first attempt to import television sets in its early days. It also failed in its attempt to market a digital watch. However, the company did not give up and decided to rebuild itself as a company that performs quality checks on computers. In 1990, Lenovo began manufacturing computers and marketing them under its own brand name.
