Technology through the ages (part 1)
Emerging technology stage :
The term “emerging technology” is used to describe new technology that is currently being developed or is expected to be implemented within five to ten years. It also refers to the continuing development of existing technology and is used to express technologies that are expected to make a significant social or economic impact. Emerging digital technologies have provided new opportunities and at the same time raised legal challenges in terms of copyright, trademarks, patents, proprietary rights and licensing. For example, the development of new digital communications has given rise to issues regarding digital reproduction and distribution of copyrighted works.
Rapid technology stage :
Pacing technology was one of the technologies that was in an early stage of development in the 1980s. Notable examples of speed technologies at the time were computer-integrated manufacturing technology and neural network technology, which relied on computing different from traditional algorithm-based computing.
In summary, pacing technology has been accepted very quickly and has been very popular since gaining initial confidence, but it still needs significant development before it reaches its full commercial potential.
